Hey readers!
Great first week (even if it was a short one) with 19 paperbacks sold, and a total of 8 eBooks sold. I’ve also submitted my book to Smashwords for distribution to Barnes & Noble (for Nook readers), Sony Reader Store (for Sony eReaders), the Diesel eBook store, and others. I am simply trying to make the book as available as possible to everyone!
For anyone who purchased a book on Amazon specifically, thank you so much! Waking Woods is now the second search item on Amazon.com (damn you Sheryl Woods, and your novel Waking up in Charleston!)
My sales rank has also begun to move, but there is a long way to go yet.
If you purchased a copy, please don’t forget to rate and like the book, and leave a review once you’ve finished reading it. Every review counts, and is immeasurably valuable to me and the brand I’m trying to build.
Speaking of which, I’ve started mapping out the plot for the second book in the series, Shadows Shift. If all goes well, a first draft should be completed by the end of the summer.
Question of the Day (a new thing, but I want to get to know all of you out there): Do you prefer your books in good old-fashioned dead tree form, or in electronic form?
I’m partial to dead tree edition, myself, though I am currently flirting with the idea of an eReader, since I can be kind of rough with paperbacks. I’m leaning towards the Kobo Glo, but let me know if any of you have experience with a better eReader.
Until next time, cheers,
J. R.
